As we know it the body consists of trillions and trillions of cells, all to create one organism. Within this organism (you) there are networks of systems lying just below the surface of the skin to include; the digestive system, reproductive system, nervous system, endocrine system, immune system, and the list goes on and on. The body is constantly working to keep these systems balanced, so that you are able to stay alive. As the main goal of this organism is to survive, but not only to survive, but to thrive!
There are two types of fuels for the human body, the right type of fuel, and the wrong type of fuel. The human body comes from the earth, and is made of mostly plant matter. Based on these two fuel sources the body will either express itself through health and wellness or through sickness and disease. Functional Nutrition gets to the root cause for common conditions like diabetes, heart disease, chronic inflammation, autoimmune disorders, digestive issues, obesity, and so on.
As you can see from the title of my webpage I am 100% vegan, and live an exclusively Whole Food Plant-Based Lifestyle. Now with that, you do not have to live your life 100% the way I live mine. We are all individuals with totally different gene expressions. The philosophy I teach is simple; and it’s to follow these four rules:
